From Prairie View A&M to Morgan State — and every HBCU in between — we donate 10.7% of each purchase to Historically Black Colleges and Universities. As of today, this year, we proudly announce that we have accumulated a remarkable total of over $57,000.

Why 10.7%?

The U.S. Department of Education identifies 107 colleges in the United States as Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Of those 107, three are currently closed. We can’t afford to let others fall by the wayside. So, while the number 107 may seem random, its selection is intentional and historically significant.

The number 107 honors my fellow HBCU alumni, my success, and the invaluable life lessons I learned at Virginia State University.

Our Cultural Thread Count.™

Thread count is a robust measurement of threads intricately woven into a single square inch of fabric. It is a definitive gauge for a fabric's softness and texture. Moreover, it is strategically utilized in marketing to assert superior fabric quality compared to competitors. Our Cultural Thread Count™ (CTC) embodies our unwavering commitment to empowering HBCUs, encapsulating our purpose and passion.
